롯데월드 [Lotte World]

 Nomming on that bread. 

Roomie's 바빔밥 (bibimbap). 

My 김치찌개 (kimchi soup). 

 Got that milk again. I don't even drink milk often in the U.S., but Korea's milk is so goood. I've heard some other exchange students say the same.

 Today was a cheering orientation for freshman. Hoards of Korea University people came to Yonsei's campus. Korea University is Yonsei's rival school.

 I tell you, HOARDS!!! Omg. A sea of burgundy. I have to admit, I like the deep red color more than Yonsei's blue... heh...heh... don't kill me plz.

 There were also hoards of blue Yonsei students too. To balance the reds. It was so cute! They were taking pictures in front of the red thing in front of UPLEX.

Anyway, off to Lotte World! There's an overnight hip-hop concert event there for White Day.

 The gang. We ended up splitting up, but met back up at the end!

 

 The fountain at 잠실역 (Jamshil Station).

Interesting theme park characters.

 To the Garden Stage. 

 So many people. And...I'm short...ㅠㅜ

 The schedule for performances. After, people can roam the indoor amusement park until 5am, when they close.

 키쎰 (Kisum) from Unpretty Rapstar??? Idk according to a friend. 

 SAN.E! Wow, I didn't know who he was before, but he is a great rapper. And the guy that was beat-boxing with him was amazing too!

 

 The merry-go-round from Stairway to Heaven??? One of my all-time favorite dramas. It's a classic with all the classic cliches.

Waiting in line for French Revolution! An indoor rollercoaster. Definitely do not wear earrings while on this ride! Thank goodness I wasn't wearing any.

 Sandra and I got food to eat while waiting in this 30 min. line -.-

 Met back up with the Roomie and Winnie!

 

We were obsessed with playing this game. You go up with a partner and each try to hit a flashing block at the same time so that the lights are the same color. If you're successful, you get a free LED rose!

 Sandra and I each got one- it was so painful trying to win twice. 

 Getting face art done. 

 I got a cat. 

Went to a photo booth! Woa, first time doing one of these since I was a kid.

Met back up with the group when it was about to close.

We got food and drinks at the convenience store, waiting for the subway to open.

제육돌솥밥 (Spicy pork stir-fried in a hot pot) for lunch.

 Mix~~ Let the rice burn slightly at the bottom.

Bakery time! It's really close to our dorm.

 Ice cream too??? Na I controlled myself...

 My baked goods. 

Also, my books came today! Ordered online and were here in less than 2 days.

Later at night, had this for dinner in 이대 (Ehwa Uni) area. It's a spicy noodle dish. 

Interesting sign at 이대 (Ehwa)! "isoi" = I'm SO intellegent ....??! Ok.

치맥 [chicken and beer]

Mmm. Love that 참치김밥 (Tuna Kimbap). I think I already mentioned that it's only 2000won?

We had Language Exchange Orientation later that night. It's a program here at Yonsei where you are paired up with one Yonsei student with the aim of teaching each other your language. Aka English for Korean.

So mine wasn't there, but met my roommate's and Winnie's partners! Suki didn't have one either at the time, so we just all joined for dinner. 

They get a pitcher of 맥주 (beer), and just dump 소주 (soju) in there. Mix with a chopstick. Haha!!! So professional.

Omg. So much chicken. We went to the same place as the one for Mentor's club haha! This infamous combination is called 치맥 (chicken and beer).

Idk how this happened, considering half of the people there had already eaten dinner. There were only 6 people total!

Somehow I still had room for this delicious strawberry milk later that night.

에뛰드하우스 [Etude House]

Checking out the area around 이대 (Ehwa Women's University)! It's super close to our dorms. Right across the street.

 Winne and I got cheesy + spicy rice for dinner.

 Roomie got the 돈까스 (donkatsu).

 Went to Etude House (에뛰드하우스) to get one of these new liquid lipsticks. Last time, I got it for free as one of their promotions. The promotion they're running now is if you buy it, you get a free nail polish. One of Korea's 1+1 deals. (See these all the time for Korean make-up stores.)

Got a drink from Bubble Tree because Winnie was really craving it. She misses this a lot in HK.

 Wow, and I thought all pads in Korea were expensive for a moment. Cool.

I ordered coats online. Because it's cold in Korea. Shipping is fast - takes about 2 business days.
