Okay. When I get to Korea, I am definitely buying those tiny stickers to put on the keyboard with the Korean characters. It's a pain to type in Korean without knowing really where each character is. (You can tell it took me a while just to write 'mail' in Korean lol)
Stickers like this. ^ I think I'll have to pick up a couple packs.. for my sister too.
Anyways! I got the package in the mail ! :) It was filled with the promised Korean-specific materials. I didnt read everything yet..will probably finish up going through it tomorrow. (Still have a math quiz and English presentation to do tomorrow and I'm getting increasingly drowsy...) From skimming through the wonderful package I found:
-handbooks from both NSLI-Y and iEARN
-language lounge log in
-extra health form
-Health insurance info
-etc.
Also, about to email the Sogang self-assessment and a verification on how my name is spelled (exactly as on my passport) to iEARN.
Hm. Besides Korea stuff- Children's festival volunteering tomorrow. It was fun last year~ My nephew is coming again to jump around in the moon bounce.

Average? Poorly? [보통? 약간 부족?]
I got a new email from NSLI-Y / iEARN! It's kind of a pre-departure Korean Language self-assessment. I marked most of my answers along the average column...and with questions like "I can write the Korean alphabet, ‘Hangeul’" I marked 'poorly' :(
I'll be honest and upfront. I can read okay and I have a good understanding of Korean (i.e. if someone were to talk Korean to me, I'd understand but respond back in English haha), but writing has always been a weakness of mine. I hope I get better in speaking and writing once I go to Korea though!
Hm.. on other news, after prom was a blast. Got there and back safely. No accidents this time! Won a mini facial and hand massage for 4 :) and my other friends also won fabulous prizes. 32gb ipod touch? $50 gift certificate? $500+ senior portrait deal? digital camera? suitcase? & more! Amazing~~ Iron Man II was interesting. Robert Downey Jr. was great... to think he has a son my age... :o

Happy [행복]
AP exams are OVER! meaning I am free (after a week of cramming for those exams!)~~~ I'm hoping I did alright...and now I can focus on getting ready for Korea :)
Soon I will be watching a huge load of dramas- trying to get myself prepared for the incessant amount of Korean I will be surrounded with. Hopefully I'll finally finish watching Chuno
and Iris (I'm on the last episode...stopped watching it months ago and never finished)
I love Korean-dramas.
& I'm excited to get the Korean specific materials in the mail! (said that I would get them from an email sent from iEARN around a week ago?) I also cant wait for after prom tomorrow. The calm after the storm (storm as in AP exams). I'm happy. :)
