Today went to lab @ 10 but missed lab meeting... apparently it's held in a different room. D: Stayed for two hours, then went to International Students welcoming lunch/ buffet @ the huge building where the International Office is - the restaurant was on the 2nd floor and it has signed soccer balls by the entrance. After, went to PIRO (Pohang Institute of Intelligent Robotics) that is in the same building as Michael's and Andy's labs. They recently renamed PIRO to KIRO (Korea replacing Pohang). After, I went to the library with Ling, checked out a couple books in Korean (I got the English version of the books from the English library on campus in MuEunJae Memorial Hall), then at 4pm headed back to the lab. Made agarose gel and prepared PCR and cleaned genes afterward.
Had English meeting at 7pm again and discussed skits and essays. Watched Love Actually and ordered chicken. mmm

@ library. we were unsure how to check out books for the longest time, but alas! we found the automated check out system. pretty nice!
yum. chunghwadae (sp?) chicken. ordered and had it delivered so we could eat while watching Love Actually during English meeting
we got so much :D each huge box was 17500 won so 2x = 35000won total. we didn't / barely finished. 5 people eating including me!
